Kids

We want church to be a place where your entire family is encouraged to draw closer to Christ—your kids included! That's why, during our Sunday morning worship services, we offer fun and engaging environments where children can learn and grow in faith as well. All our kids' programs are designed to be safe places where children in our church can learn new and exciting things about God while being led and cared for by adult volunteers from our congregation. It's our hope to encourage children to not only discover new things about God, but also begin to understand how those things matter in their own lives.

Students

In student ministry, we strive to lead students to become passionate followers of Christ. By partnering with parents and trained leaders, our mission is to teach and inspire the next generation to be founded in their faith and confident in their Creator. Through regular Bible study and small group gatherings, we encourage students to walk boldly towards Christ, apply His truth to their lives, and develop strong, life-changing relationships with the God of the universe. We want our students to know Jesus so that they might be excited about sharing His name and making Him known to others. Our prayer is that the church would be the future of our world and our students, the future of the church.

Women

We offer several opportunities for women to get involved in ministries at our church designed to grow and strengthen their faith alongside others. It's our desire to create environments where other women in the same stages and phases of life can develop authentic relationships with one another while being encouraged to grab hold of how God's truth intersects with and impacts their lives. Be sure to check our our events page for any upcoming events!

Grace's Surgery Date Has Been Confirmed

Dear Friends, Family, and Supporters,

We are grateful to share another important update regarding Grace's treatment journey.

By God's grace, all preparations have been moving forward, and we are pleased to announce that Grace's reconstructive jaw surgery has now been officially scheduled for July 6, 2026, at the West Africa Institute for Special Surgery in Ghana.

This is a significant milestone that we have been praying and working toward for a long time. What once seemed uncertain is now becoming a reality, and we are filled with hope as we approach this important date.

Over the coming weeks, Grace will undergo final evaluations and preparations to ensure she is ready for surgery. We remain confident in the medical team and thankful for the opportunity for her to receive the specialized care she needs.

We would like to express our heartfelt appreciation to everyone who has stood with Grace throughout this journey. Your prayers, financial support, encouragement, and willingness to share her story have made a tremendous difference. We truly could not have reached this point without you.

As July 6 approaches, we humbly ask for your continued prayers. Please pray for Grace's strength and peace, for wisdom and skill for the surgical team, for a successful operation, and for a smooth and complete recovery.

We will continue to keep you updated and look forward to sharing more news as Grace moves closer to this life-changing procedure.

Thank you for your unwavering support and for being part of Grace's journey toward healing and a brighter future.

With gratitude,

Dr. Moses Fraser

Update on Grace's Journey

Dear friends, family, and supporters,

We would like to share an important update regarding Grace's treatment.

As many of you know, we had been working toward taking Grace to Kenya for her reconstructive jaw surgery. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen and unavoidable circumstances, we were unable to move forward with the treatment plan in Kenya.

While this was a disappointing setback, we are grateful to share some wonderful news.

After continued efforts to find the best possible care for Grace, we have been blessed with a new opportunity. We have secured a surgical team at the West Africa Institute for Special Surgery in Ghana, and Grace is now scheduled to undergo her surgery in July 2026.

This development means Grace can receive the specialized treatment she urgently needs much closer to home, surrounded by her support system and without the challenges associated with international travel.

We remain hopeful and encouraged as we move into this next chapter of Grace's journey. We are deeply thankful to everyone who has prayed, donated, shared her story, and offered words of encouragement. Your support has helped make this opportunity possible.

As we prepare for Grace's surgery and recovery, we ask for your continued prayers for a successful operation, a smooth recovery, and complete healing.

Because the treatment plan has changed, we will be updating our fundraising goals and anticipated expenses in the coming days.

Thank you for standing with Grace and helping bring hope to her future.

With gratitude,

Dr. Moses Fraser

Background

  • My name is Dr. Moses Fraser, a medical doctor from Ghana, now living and practicing in the United States. During my recent trip to Ghana for my mother’s funeral, I met a woman whose story I couldn’t ignore — Grace, a 61-year-old woman living with a large recurrent Ameloblastoma, a rare, aggressive tumor of the jaw.

  • Grace has endured four major surgeries in Ghanaian hospitals over the years, but the tumor keeps returning. The swelling has caused her great pain, difficulty eating, and emotional distress. Yet despite everything, she continues to face life with quiet strength and faith.

  • When I met her, I felt deeply moved to help — even though I didn’t yet know how. After reaching out to organizations worldwide, I finally connected with Dr. Bryce Noblitt, a U.S.-based missionary ENT surgeon serving with KenyaHear at Kijabe Hospital, Kenya.

Evangelism and Outreach

Locally we also share the love of God with the Community through our free Medical clinic , partnering with the local churches.
We also encourage one on one evangelism in the marketplace where by our lifestyle we can win people to the kingdom.
Using the Connect group, we invite friends first to our homes and as they get to know our fellowship, they are then invited to church.

Missions and Sending

Here at the Vancouver Voice of Hope Church, we partner with the Church of Truth locally for international mission work in Africa, South America , Muslim countries. A goal is to have people from all walks of life experience Heaven on earth.

Caring for the Poor in Africa

The ministry continues its commitment to caring for the poor and vulnerable across Africa, demonstrating Christ’s love through practical support and compassionate outreach. One of the individuals currently receiving assistance is a widow who is approximately 100 years old. Living with limited resources and without close family support, she relies heavily on the kindness of the church community.

Through regular financial help, provision of food, and emotional and spiritual encouragement, the church ensures that she is not forgotten in her old age. This support not only meets her basic needs but also restores dignity, comfort, and hope in the final years of her life. Her story represents the heart of the church’s mission—to stand alongside those in greatest need and to be a tangible expression of God’s care in their lives.
